The murderers of Lucio Dupuy will not listen to the sentences they will receive

Next Friday the sentences that those accused of murdering Lucio Dupuyof five years. Magdalena Esposito Valentithe child’s mother, and Abigail Peace, his partner, were convicted of the crime of aggravated homicide.
In the case of Páez, she was also found guilty of outrageous sexual abuse while Espósito Valenti was acquitted of that crime.
Silvina Blanco, Páez’s lawyer, confirmed that the defendants will not be in the courtroom nor will they see the sentence from jail, but that the ruling will be read to them by the defense and a court clerk, according to TN.
To Páez “everything is very hard for them” inside the prison where she is staying while serving her sentence. In addition, she assured that Abigail “is very dejected,” the magistrate confided.
In this context, he said that Espósito Valenti’s partner “is receiving Psychological Support” as a result of her situation and following having been violated by other inmates. Asked regarding this, the lawyer said that she is no longer being mistreated, and that she has reinforced her security.
Regarding the sentence they will receive in the next few hours, Blanco revealed that the defendants will not travel to La Pampa and will receive the news from San Luis Penitentiary Complex No. 1. “We are going to inform you,” he assured.
