The idea of changing the name of the Russian Federation to Muscovy is not new in Ukraine.
He Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky has commissioned to study an electronic petition with more than 25,000 signatures of support that suggests officially changing the name of “Rusia” by “Moscovia” and replace the terms “Russian” with “Muscovite” and “Russian Federation” with “Moscow Federation”.
The author of the petition maintains that “the historical name of Russia is Muscovy”, as reported today by the Union agency.
“This name was used in European languages and in some Asian ones. This name also appears on many historical maps from the 16th to the 19th centuries, which were made in Europe before and following the name change from the Kingdom of Moscow to the All-Russian Empire,” the petition states.
The author also points out that “Russia has existed for only 301 years, since October 22, 1721, when Tsar Peter I of Moscow proclaimed the Muscovite kingdom ‘Russian Empire’.”
Zelensky indicated that “the issue raised in the petition requires a thorough examination, both in terms of the historical and cultural context and taking into account the possible international legal consequences.”
The Ukrainian president added that he has commissioned his Prime Minister, Denys Shmyhal, resolve this issue together with scientific institutions.
The idea of changing the name of the Russian Federation to Muscovy is not new in Ukraine.
Already in 2019, Nikita Poturaev, Zelensky’s political adviser, made a proposal along these lines and later, the journalist Ayder Muzhdabayev stated that changing the name of Russia to Muscovy would have historical grounds.
The Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) recommends that women and men see their family doctor when they experience cramps more than twice a week without being caused by muscle fatigue or lack of blood supply, since they are an important alert to detect chronic-degenerative diseases.
The clinical coordinator of Internal Medicine of the Hospital General de Zona (HGZ) 2-A “Troncoso”, Dr. Gustavo Acevedo Steinmann, pointed out that cramps are a sudden contraction of the muscles that are mainly caused by muscle exhaustion or some hydroelectrolyte imbalance, although it might also be a symptom related to thyroid problems, kidney disorders or diabetes mellitus.
He stressed that beneficiaries who present frequent cramps should go to their IMSS Family Medicine Unit (UMF) where they will be provided with multidisciplinary care, it will be identified if they have diabetes, chronic kidney failure or suffer from another disease that alters electrolytes, to determine appropriate medical management.
“The recommendation regarding cramps is that if they are not associated with any physical activity as such, it is important that they go to their doctor, to their Family Medicine Unit to study any added pathology,” he urged.
He added that people who present sudden and involuntary contractions of one or more muscles, which is generally in the lower extremities such as legs, calves or toes, should consume foods rich in potassium such as tomatoes, oranges and bananas, in addition to always keeping well hydrated with plain water.
The clinical coordinator of HGZ 2-A “Troncoso” explained that a cramp is generated in any part of the body due to an alteration of electrolytes, such as sodium, calcium and potassium, and its presence can be from a common manifestation in the muscles, to an alert of inadequate control of chronic-degenerative diseases.
He added that some people with long-term diabetes mellitus have changes in muscle fibers but are unaware of their health status until symptoms such as cramps appear, so it is important that these patients adhere to regular medical check-ups at their nearest UMF.
“The cramps are very painful in most cases, although the intensity of the pain varies depending on the contraction, they can occur in multiple situations and the way to solve them is normally to do a passive stretch of the extremity, which consists of extending from straight way and without moving the part of the body where the discomfort is occurring,” he said.
Gustavo Acevedo Steinmann added that another aspect that must be considered regarding the appearance of cramps is a sedentary lifestyle, which leads to muscular immobility and prevents adequate blood circulation and correct oxygenation of the muscles, in addition to constituting a risk factor for obesity.
“The cramps can occur at any age, however they are more frequent from the fifth decade of life due to the conditions that occur at this stage of life,” he said.
On March 11, 2023, at the Lawyer’s Office, Chaengwattana Road, Khlong Kluea Subdistrict, Pakkred District, Nonthaburi Province, Mr. Narin (surname reserved) or Ek, 47 years old, Chaiyaphum young man, went to file a complaint with Nakon Kaewpetch, chairman of the campaign network. reclaim social justice to ask for help following marriage, living with his wife for more than 20 years until having 3 children together, by himself going to work in Korea, sending money to his wife every month After the wife won the 1st prize, received 12 million, changed to a different person. What’s even worse, he secretly flees and marries a new man, a crowd control police officer. therefore making himself very sad, did not think that his beloved wife who had been together for more than 20 years would hurt each other to this extent
Mr. Narin or Ek said with tears that He and Miss Chaweewan or Wee, 45 years old, who is his wife. Have been married for more than 20 years until they have 3 daughters together, are poor, the family owes more than 2 million baht, so he and his wife consulted and decided to go to work in Korea together, both of them in 2014 later He heard the news from his father that his mother had died. So he and his wife discussed what to do. In the end, his wife said that if we both returned, we still had not paid off the remaining debt, let them make a good decision. At that time, his wife was 7 months pregnant, so she decided to let her go back to Thailand. By himself working and sending money to his wife every month 27,000 – 30,000 baht
Until he heard the news from his son and father that His wife won the 1st prize for the draw on March 1, 2021, number 835538, with his wife earning a total of 12 million baht, but she never told her. He came to know from his son that his father had to hurry back. Don’t be difficult over there. because my mother won the lottery He tried to call and talk to his wife, but he didn’t answer. It also blocks phone numbers. Block your face too So he decided to return to Thailand on March 3, 2023 to see his wife and 3 children, especially his 3rd daughter, who he had never seen before.
Mr. Narin or Ek continued that, but what was even more shocking was that his father said that His wife remarried on February 25, 2023, with a police officer in the crowd control department. He therefore felt very sorry. Didn’t think that his wife, who had lived together for more than 20 years, would hurt him so much.
“Now I can’t really do anything right because he has nothing left. The money earned from working in Korea was sent to my wife every month. until only 60,000 baht remained with him, he wanted lawyers to campaign for help, demanding justice for the part he should receive, “said Mr. Ek in tears.
On the side of the campaign lawyer, he said, first of all, if he does not live together as husband and wife. The man does not have to send almost 30,000 baht a month, but this shows that they are still living together. As he bought the lottery, he had to split it in half according to joint ownership. As for the new husband who married as a policeman Should know that he hasn’t broken up yet. If they broke up, why would this way send money? Men send money to support their families, not just to raise their children. The husband can file a disciplinary offense. The heaviest punishment is dismissal from the police service.
even if they do not register their marriage But living together and people in the village perceived that they were married. Husband went to work in Korea. The son said that the father had only 60,000 baht, the father had all this and nothing left. As for the lawsuit, you have to go to court to ask for half of the ownership, which is 6 million baht per person.

Cardinal Cantara Mesa, the preacher of the Papal Palace, led the second meditation of this year’s Lent for the Holy See. Pope Francis was also there.
(Vatican News Network)On the morning of March 11, Cardinal Raniero Cantalamessa, the preacher of the Pope’s Palace, led the staff of the Holy See in the second meditation of this year’s Lent in the Paul VI Hall of the Vatican, talking regarding St. Luke urges us to have a personal relationship with Christ and the important role that lay people play in the Church’s mission of evangelization. Pope Francis personally attended the meditation.
The danger of ignoring God
Cardinal Cantara Mesa first quoted the words of St. Paul: “Although they knew God, they did not honor or thank him for being God” (Romans 1:21). It means that there is no “greater sin” than “refusing to honor God and give thanks to God”. To us it sounds a little strange to say: “It does not seem to us a heinous thing to be dishonored to God, not to be thankful to God.”
In order to understand the meaning of St. Paul’s words, “we need to understand what lies behind: refusing to recognize God as God, denying God the attention he deserves”, which is “ignoring” God. Ignoring does not mean “not knowing that He exists”, but “acting as if He does not exist”.
Increase your personal relationship with Jesus
So what significance do these words of St. Paul have for us today? The homily of the Pontifical House points out that, by emphasizing the “salvation brought regarding by Jesus Christ”, Saint Paul invites us to enter into a personal relationship with Jesus.
Catholics sometimes find it difficult to accept this concept and tend to explore the relationship with Christ from the perspective of “doctrine, sacrament and ecclesiology”. For the past five centuries, Catholic spirituality and pastoral work have viewed “with suspicion” any claims regarding a personal relationship with God. This attitude, however, is entirely the result of a misguided approach.
The cardinal stressed that, given that faith is no longer taken for granted today, it must be understood at the level of personal relationships, because “faith must be the result of personal choice”.
Laymen commit to the mission of evangelization
Cardinal Cantara Mesa then invited the people to reflect on how to kindle the love of Jesus Christ in the hearts of others. “In most of the cases I have known in my life, knowing someone who experienced this grace, going to a meeting, hearing a testimony helped people to know Christ, which in turn led to a better life,” said the cardinal. Change.”
For this reason, the role of the lay faithful is all the more important because “the laity is more integrated into the fabric of life in which the above-mentioned situations often occur”. Laymen who “discover what it means to know the living Jesus, desire to share this discovery with others”. Therefore, lay people should be the main evangelizers of the Church.
