This “P’tit doc +” makes us dive into the deep sea… A real immersion in this little-known environment! In this book, we learn how we measure the depth of the oceans, what the relief of these depths looks like, that there are even hot springs of water called “smokers”, but also that there is life there despite the absence of light and plants. The animals have adapted to this environment and have sometimes developed astonishing characteristics (bioluminescence). This universe, however hostile to humans (very cold temperature, no light, a lot of pressure) is nevertheless increasingly exploited (especially for oil and its mineral wealth) and studied thanks to technological progress. A very mysterious habitat More humans have been to the Moon than to the deepest point of the oceans! In this book, we learn a lot regarding this environment: what it looks like, what animals we find there and how they live in this universe without light and without plants, with what machines we go there… The “P ‘tits doc +’, docs for older children After “Mes p’tits docs”, this collection is intended for children who are beginning to read independently. More information, more pages, a bigger book… but a documentary that still reads like a story. At the end of the book, you will be able to observe the depth records!

Movistar and all the operators can put it into Datacrédito with a play
The main mobile operators in the country are being investigated for a controversial practice that borders on immoral and affects millions of customers in the country.
The SICquoted by El Tiempo, indicated that it is investigating all the cellular operators in the country on behalf of a move that would affect customers looking to do line portability.
This is a process by which a person can change operators with the same number and only by doing a process that, in theory, should be simple.
However, the SIC added that many operators they are inventing bonds out of thin air with those that prevent the client from moving from company telefónica.
(see also: Work from home and receive salaries greater than $5 million; companies have vacancies).
These bonuses are supposed advantages that a client enjoyed, which were never activated and which are automatically charged when requesting to leave the company. Not to pay that invented bonus can lead to delay portability, but it can even lead to being reported in Datacrédito.
“In this practice, the operators that do this force the user who wants to port to go to a physical office, in order to retain them with offers and new incentives,” that newspaper detailed in this regard.
In fact, the SIC recalled that in March 2022 it fined Movistar more than 2,000 million pesos for this practice. The law is very clear in this regard and seeks to protect the customer at all costs.
“The telecommunications operators that have the right to direct numbering assignment are obliged to provide the number portability service, This is understood as the user’s ability to keep their phone number without deterioration of quality and reliability”, details the portability law, cited by FM.
Movistar plans a big change for a problem that afflicted thousands
Movistar, one of the largest telephone companies in Latin America, indicated that will pull out your copper lines in Chile, a country widely affected by pollution.
In a statement, the company explained that this effort is part of “a complete technological renewal plan”, which will mean “a relevant step for the digital development of the country, and that will promote the massification of fiber optic and 5G technologies”.
In this sense, he stressed that the plan is equally “aligned with the environmental objectives of the Telefónica Group to collaborate with the climate crisis and reduce the carbon footprint globally.

After the government announced a solution to forced labor, POSCO became the first Korean company to donate 4 billion won to the damage compensation foundation.
This “third-party reimbursement” method is a government plan, but the victims are rejecting it, and there is still public opinion once morest it.

POSCO donated 4 billion won to the Foundation for Supporting Victims of Forced Labor in Japan, which was supposed to pay compensation on behalf of Japanese companies.
With the remainder of the 10 billion won that POSCO promised to help victims of forced labor at the time of the foundation’s establishment, POSCO explained that it was “fulfilling the promise in accordance with the purpose of the government’s announcement.”
Previously, the American Chamber of Commerce in Korea and others made donations, but POSCO is the first Korean company to do so.
The government is emphasizing the ‘voluntary donation’ of 16 companies that received help from the Korea-Japan Claims Fund in 1965, such as POSCO.
The 15 victims who received the Supreme Court’s judgment are regarding 4 billion won in compensation.
The funds are in place, but the road ahead is not smooth.
So far, only four bereaved families have agreed to compensation from the government, but in particular, three surviving victims have clearly opposed it.

″I would never take that kind of money, even if it meant starving to death.″
Even in the current civil law, there is a proviso that ‘third party repayment’ cannot be made when the party does not allow it.
Therefore, if the government enforces a third party reimbursement, it may escalate into a lawsuit between the government and the victim.
Equity issues also remain To support all 210,000 victims of forced labor recognized by the government, more money is needed along with a special law.
However, there is still no response from Japan that the government has announced, and other domestic companies such as KEPCO, Korea Expressway Corporation, and KT are also cautious, saying, “If the government requests it, we will review support.”
