This became possible following the mayor Dimitar Nikolov responded to the request of parents, that these activities, which have proven their positive effect, be provided free of charge on the territory of the municipal swimming pools. For the implementation of the adapted activities of children with disabilities in the water environment, the Municipality of Burgas attracted a specialist in aquatic rehabilitation and adapted physical activity and sports, who is certified by both the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Worldwide Aquatic Bodywork Association /WABA/. The duration of the classes will be in the range of 40-60 minutes, depending on the age, degree of disability and secondary diseases of the child. For this purpose, the water temperature in the pools will be maintained within the limits: 27-28 degrees in a 25-meter pool and 30-32 degrees in a small one. Classes will be held in groups and individually with or without an assistant in the water depending on the child’s functional capabilities. They include additional devices and means, through which those involved can more easily adapt, both to the water environment, and to the assimilation of new motor activities, which will increase the functional capabilities of the child. The means and methods in the correctional aspect will be tailored once more to the individual possibilities, the severity of the disability and the accompanying secondary diseases in order to improve the physical and mental development of the children. In order to be included in the activities, it is necessary for the parents to provide a copy of TELK, epicrisis and a document from the personal physician regarding the absence of contraindications and health risk for the child. Adapted physical activity is a general term for all services and activities that contribute to an active and healthy lifestyle of people with disabilities and deviations in health status through physical activity, tailored to their functional capabilities. On a global scale, aquatic rehabilitation and adapted swimming are used, not only for the prevention of secondary diseases of children with disabilities, but also are the key to their physical, social and mental adaptation in society. In addition to water rehabilitation, the Municipality of Burgas will continue to work on various programs for motor activity aimed at children with disabilities. Registrations for the free water activities will be made by phone: 0878 193 099 – Veselina Stankova.

E-fuels, i.e. the production of liquid fuel from electricity, are currently being presented by the car industry and fuel distributors as a climate-friendly future solution for mobility. Climate-friendly, however, would mean saving greenhouse gases. However, e-fuels can only be described as climate-neutral, and only if only green electricity is used in the manufacturing process.
Despite several hours of negotiations involving the EU, Serbia and Kosovo have not been able to agree on signing an agreement to normalize relations between the two countries. “The parties involved might not find a mutually acceptable solution,” said EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell following the marathon meeting in North Macedonia’s Ohrid in the evening.
Kosovo’s Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic spent almost twelve hours negotiating a peace plan for the two states presented by the EU last month.
Serbia and Kosovo are under increasing pressure from Western states to strike an agreement that would allow relations between the two sides to normalize.
Kosovo, a country of 1.8 million people with a majority Albanian population, declared its independence from Serbia in 2008, but Belgrade still regards it as a Serbian province to this day. About 120,000 Serbs live in Kosovo. Both Serbia and Kosovo are striving to join the EU.
Both sides spoke of progress following the negotiations on Saturday. However, the Serbian President avoided signing the agreement “like at the last meeting in Brussels” at the end of February, Kurti said.
Vucic himself was less specific: “I think we have taken an important step towards a constructive atmosphere and we will start working on something,” said the Serb.
The EU’s 11-point document provides a framework in which both sides would commit to refraining from the use of force in conflict resolution and not to preventing the other country’s eventual accession to the EU or other international bodies.
Kurti’s government hopes an agreement would open his country’s path into international institutions, particularly the United Nations. The agreement would also mean de facto recognition of the other state, with Kosovo and Serbia accepting each other’s travel documents, diplomas, license plates and customs stamps.
An earlier meeting in Brussels at the end of February had not brought any breakthrough, even though EU representatives held out the prospect of an early agreement. Kurti and Vucic then blamed each other for the preliminary failure of the negotiations. Vucic said followingwards that he “would not sign or accept any formal or informal recognition of Kosovo”.
