How electric fuels (e-fuels) are produced

E-fuels, i.e. the production of liquid fuel from electricity, are currently being presented by the car industry and fuel distributors as a climate-friendly future solution for mobility. Climate-friendly, however, would mean saving greenhouse gases. However, e-fuels can only be described as climate-neutral, and only if only green electricity is used in the manufacturing process.
