Apple plans to introduce a new “Game Mode” in the upcoming iOS 17 / iPadOS 17 to improve gaming performance and reduce Bluetooth latency. Technology media 9to5Mac found following digging into the iOS 17 Beta 4 update code that Apple uses the same framework as macOS Sonoma to control the game mode. Apple has been pushing for universal apps in recent years, with iOS/iPadOS and macOS sharing a lot of code. However, Apple had never developed a “Game Mode” for the iPhone and iPad before this. This change shows that Apple is actively exploring ways to improve the performance of games on mobile devices. Once the player enables the game mode, the system will fully mobilize hardware resources to ensure that the game runs more smoothly. Additionally, Apple says Bluetooth latency will be significantly lower when Game Mode is enabled. This is undoubtedly good news for players who use AirPods or Bluetooth headsets. In short, this approach will make the gaming experience on Apple devices even better. By making full use of hardware performance, players can enjoy smoother, higher-quality game graphics and sound effects. At the same time, reducing Bluetooth latency will also improve the response speed of the game, allowing players to more accurately control game characters. And the introduction of Apple’s game mode has brought more possibilities for game lovers. Whether at home or on the go, players can enjoy a better gaming experience with their iPhone or iPad. This move further solidifies Apple’s leadership in mobile devices and demonstrates its focus on and responsiveness to users’ needs.

Netanyahu calls judicial reform a “small correction” in an interview – Israel
2023-07-28 04:17:32
Washington – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has described the judicial reform, which his right-wing religious government is pushing ahead with and which has been accompanied by massive protests, as a “small correction”. Netanyahu told ABC on Thursday that he initiated the reform to “balance the pendulum” between elected officials and Supreme Court judges. “We have to fix it and we’ve just done that. It’s a small fix,” he said, later repeating the statement in another interview with CNN.

It seems that this year is the 100th anniversary! I went to the Bunka Gakuen Costume Museum[Ryoku Nakatsuka Blog]
2023-07-26 12:00:00
hello everyone! It’s Ryoku Nakatsuka!
It’s very hot this summer…
Even though the rainy season hasn’t ended yet, this heat is a hellish season for me, who sweats a lot.
Recently, I went to Bunka Fashion College’s museum, Bunka Gakuen Fashion Museum!
When I was thinking regarding my career path, I had thought regarding going to Bunka Fashion College, but I was surprised that I didn’t know there was a museum!
There’s a museum at school…lol
It was the 100th anniversary when I went. What a great history!
The theme of the exhibition during such auspicious time is “the beauty of Japanese clothing”.
There were exhibits from the Edo period to the early Meiji period, and I might really feel the history.
Of course, there were no machines, so even though it was a time when manual work was the main work, high-quality embroidery just like the real thing… It’s really amazing to see the gradation of snow that has fallen and piled up in many colors. I was impressed.
And I’m surprised that the clothes from 400 years ago are still so beautiful!
As it was the 100th anniversary, posters of past exhibitions were lined up on the wall.

Founder of HUMAN MADE, NIGO®’s vintage collection and “60〜The exhibition “European mode of the 70’s” is all very interesting, and I definitely want to check it out from now on!
And the school building is so big and beautiful!smile
It was a lot of fun!
Well then!

Enabel: Belgian Development Agency’s Impact on Niger’s Livelihoods, Climate, and Education
2023-07-27 14:04:38
Niger, currently shaken by a coup, is one of the most important beneficiary countries of Enabel, the Belgian development agency. Our government is devoting 65 million euros to it within the framework of its cooperation programme.
This sum, distributed over a period of 5 years (since 2022), comes from a portfolio intended for the country itself and from an envelope “climate” encompassing the Sahel region, including Niger. Multiple and varied, Belgian interventions cover different sectors such as livestock, public health, education, good governance and the climate.
“Our support aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the population of Niger through access to social protection. We have thus set up an occupational health insurance with the help of the Ministry of Public Health“, illustrates Sandra Galbusera, the resident representative in Niger, temporarily back in Belgium.
“Furthermore, we want to contribute to better food security and restore the natural ecosystems of the Sahel, while the region is fighting once morest the phenomenon of desertification and climate change. Nigerien herders and farmers have really difficult living and working conditions“, she continues.
“Finally, we are investing in the education of young girls, a very vulnerable public in this poor country where the average birth rate is now 7 children per woman.“. This is one of the fastest growing populations in the world.
“All these actions and these projects, we hope to continue them despite the coup d’etat which is at work in Niger.“, indique Me Galbusera. “We are monitoring the situation closely. For now, the money is not frozen“.
In total, 15 expatriates dependent on Enabel work in Niger, along with around a hundred national colleagues.
“All our employees on site are confined as a precaution. They are telecommuting. Although at the moment the situation seems relatively calm, except around the area of the presidential palace in Niamey“, punctuates Sandra Galbusera.
Putschist soldiers in Niger announced on national television on Wednesday evening that they had overthrown the democratically elected president, Mohamed Bazoum, in power since 2021.
The Nigerien president, sequestered in Niamey, and his head of diplomacy Hassoumi Massoudou for their part rejected, in separate messages, the coup d’etat in Niger, claiming always to represent the legitimate authorities of the country.
