Around 550 images were submitted and reviewed by a 20-strong jury of PR and media professionals. “We are once more looking for first-class, pointed, amazing, humorous, touching and expressive pictures. Photos that move and are remembered,” says Julia Wippersberg, jury member and managing director of APA-OTS Originaltext-Service. 70 of the 550 submitted photos, which have now been presented on a shortlist, met these high requirements.
Also present: the Benedictine Abbey of Admont, which was nominated in three out of a total of seven categories for the best PR image 2023. “For us, this nomination is a confirmation of our consistent work, through which Admont Abbey has now gained worldwide renown. In the “Portrait” category, the Benedictine monastery is the only Austrian organization to be nominated for the best PR image. This was achieved with a portrait of Father Vinzenz Schager, who works on his laptop in the archive. Father Michael Robitschko and Father Egon Homann’s foray through the Benedictine winery in Slovenia convinced the jury for a nomination in the “Stories & Campaigns” category. And the panorama shot of the world’s largest monastery library catapulted Admont Abbey into the top 10 entries in the “Tourism” category. The result of the online vote will decide whether one or all three images will soon be able to adorn themselves with the PR Image Award 2023.

Scientists propose that dinner hours should be European, that is, around 7:00 p.m., but the ideal is, given the results of the research, to do it six and a half hours before going to sleep.
