Thursday January 4, The Internet user revealed more details regarding this aid allocated to the most modest, created to help them pay their energy bills. To be able to benefit from it, you must therefore respect a main standard: income.
Thus, you must have completed your income tax return, explains L’Internaute, but also live in accommodation subject to housing tax. A single person must, for example, have received less than 11,000 euros the previous year, adds The Internet user. To make your own calculation, the reference of 11,000 euros is done per consumption unit (CU). The second person is worth half a UC, or 5,500 euros, and any additional person is worth 0.3 UC.

After this calculation, there is nothing more to do, since eligible people automatically receive the energy check, without needing to take any additional steps. As for the amount, The Internet user indicates that in 2024 a single person will be able to receive a check for a maximum of 194 euros, when their tax income is 5,600 euros or less.
Finally, The Internet user specifies that the date of delivery of the energy check has not yet been communicated for the year 2024, and that last year the payments were staggered between April 21 and May 30. Please note, this energy check cannot replenish a current account, because it is already calibrated to be used with energy suppliers or to pay for energy renovation work.
