2024 Social Payments Indexation Revealed: Increases Stage by Stage

Indexation of social payments in 2024 will take place in several stages. What payments will increase was revealed by the telegram channel Explain.rf.

From January 1

The old age and disability insurance pension paid to unemployed Russians will increase by 7.5%.

The minimum wage will increase by 18.5% and will be equal to 19,242 rubles.

The maximum monthly allowance for child care up to one and a half years will increase from 33.2 thousand rubles to 49.1 thousand rubles.

From February 1

Maternity capital will be:

• 630,967 rubles for the first child;

• 833,800 rubles for the second child or 202,800 rubles if the family has already received a payment for the first-born.

The maximum maternity benefit will increase:

• up to 565,562 rubles, if there were no complications;

• up to 630,198 rubles, if there were complications;

• up to 783,708 rubles for multiple pregnancies.

A one-time benefit for the birth of a child can increase to 24,627 rubles.

The monthly allowance for caring for a child up to one and a half years old will increase to 49,123 rubles.

The maximum amount of temporary disability benefits will reach:

• 122,808 rubles per month with an insurance period of eight years or more;

• 98,246 rubles – with experience from five to eight years;

• 73,685 rubles – with up to five years of experience.

Monthly cash payments for people with disabilities of all groups will increase by 7.5%.

Social pensions will be indexed by 7.5%. They are received due to disability, loss of a breadwinner or old age. The size of state pensions for military personnel, astronauts, federal civil servants and other beneficiaries will also increase.

From October 1

Pensions of military personnel and equivalent pensioners will be increased by 4.5%.
