The reason the trial was postponed for two weeks was because of Idham Masse’s position, who is currently in Sulawesi. It is hoped that within two weeks, Idham Masse will be able to attend the trial according to the date set.
“Because the defendant is located in South Sulawesi, the delivery time is quite long and far outside Java, the requirements are impossible. If you are worried, it will take 1 week before the summons will be received from the defendant,” explained Dody.
Catherine Wilson filed a divorce lawsuit at the Depok Religious Court, West Java on December 24 2023. Previously, Idham Masse had filed a divorce petition at the South Jakarta Religious Court but failed.
