Ethiopia is hosting the 20th African Flavored Coffee Conference and Exhibition and the first Africa Coffee Week this February.
The African Flavored Coffee Conference and Exhibition will be held in Addis Ababa for 4 days starting February 6, the Ethiopian Coffee and Tea Authority announced.
International coffee operators, academics and senior government officials are expected at the conference and exhibition, underlines the same source.
The conference will bring together around 2,000 regional and international coffee producers, traders, buyers and industry experts to discuss sustainable financing policies.
Deputy Director General of the authority, Shafi Omar, noted that coffee is an agricultural sector that plays an important role in the Ethiopian economy, noting that the conference and exhibition constitutes an excellent opportunity to promote Ethiopian coffee in Africa and the global market
