The price of 24 carat, the highest category, reached about 1285 pounds for sale and 1291 pounds for purchase.

And the price of 21 caliber, the most prevalent, recorded about 1124 pounds for sale and 1130 pounds for purchase.

And the price of 18 caliber recorded about 963 pounds for sale and 969 pounds for purchase.

The price of the gold pound was stable at the beginning of trading today, Tuesday, recording about 8,992 pounds for sale and 9,040 pounds for buying.
gold ounce
The price of an ounce of gold scored about 39.95 thousand pounds for sale and 40.2 thousand pounds for purchase.
According to press reports, Egyptians, especially those who are about to get married, are interested in following up on the price of gold in Egypt in a momentary manner, given its paramount importance to them, given that gold of various gold calibers is considered a store of wealth in times of economic downturn.
Gold and stamp workmanship price
The price of gold in Egypt varies according to workmanship, from one goldsmiths shop to another. The average price of workmanship and stamping in goldsmiths’ shops ranges between 30 and 65 pounds, depending on the type of gold carat, and in different goldsmiths’ shops, and from one governorate to another, and from one trader to another.
It mostly represents a percentage ranging between 7% and 10% of the price of a gram of gold, and the higher the percentage of minerals present, the less the carat, and an ounce that weighs “31.1 grams” is used as a unit of weight for jewelry and gold alloys.
