(New York = Yonhap News) Correspondent Guntaek Kang = The U.S. Department of Labor said nonfarm payrolls increased by 209,000 in June from the previous month.
It fell short of the 240,000 forecast by experts compiled by the Wall Street Journal (WSJ).
The unemployment rate last month was 3.6%, down slightly from the previous month (3.7%).
