24 years ago the Bulls put the biggest beating in NBA Finals history at the Jazz

On June 7, 1998, Game 3 of the NBA Finals was played, an important match since the two teams were tied 1-1 in the series and we witnessed a unique massacre in the history of the Finals with a demonstration of the Bulls. The latter prevailed with the surreal score of 96-54! This is of course the biggest gap in the NBA Finals, but also the smallest number of points in the Finals since the previous record dated back to 1955 with Syracuse’s 71 points. They only scored 9 points in the last quarter.

During this match the Jazz lost 26 balls and shot at a terrible 21/70 including 1/9 at 3-pts. That day Karl Malone still managed to put up 22 points at 8/11 after a tough first two games. In front Michael Jordan scored 24 points at 7/14 in just 32 minutes.
