Local stock markets strengthened their gains during this week’s trading, with their market capitalization gaining more than 25.4 billion dirhams amid purchasing operations targeting leading and major stocks in the real estate and financial sectors.
The market capitalization of listed stocks rose from 3.656 trillion dirhams at the end of last week, to 3.681 trillion dirhams at the end of this week, distributed by 2.981 trillion dirhams for stocks listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Market, and 700 billion dirhams for stocks listed on the Dubai Financial Market.
The market gains achieved during the week were distributed at 22.6 billion dirhams for Abu Dhabi Securities Market shares, and 2.76 billion dirhams for Dubai Financial Market shares.
Shares attracted liquidity during the week of regarding 8.79 billion dirhams, distributed by 7.2 billion dirhams in the Abu Dhabi market, and 1.58 billion dirhams in the Dubai market, and regarding 2.5 billion shares were traded through the implementation of more than 113.9 thousand transactions.
