കാThere are some movies that travel with the langs and establish a place in the mind of the audience. They will always be on the hit list of movie lovers. Iruvar is one such film. When the lives of MGR, Karunanidhi and Jayalalithaa hit the big screen, Evergreen was born into Indian cinema. The film also starred Mohanlal, Prakash Raj and Aishwarya Rai. It has been 25 years since the birth of the duo, directed by Mani Ratnam. The note and pictures shared by Mohanlal on this occasion are noteworthy.
“Two, one of the most exciting experiences of my film journey,” Mohanlal said in a note. And Mohanlal shared some stills. Later, many people came to the scene with greetings.
When Mohanlal came as MGR, it was Prakash Raja who came as Karunanidhi. Both of them performed exceptionally well in the film. When Mohanlal as Anandan and Prakash Raj as Tamil Selvan broke the stage, it was Aishwarya Rai who came as Jayalalithaa. It was also the debut film of its kind in South India. Along with Aishwarya, Nasser, Gautami, Revathi and Tabu were all in the picture. Twenty-five years after the film’s release, the two are still a classic in the minds of movie lovers.
