While waiting for trial, Ha lacked money to spend and had an intention to cheat.
The investigation records show that, on February 24, 2022, Ha bought things at a store on Ton Duc Thang street (Dong Da district, Hanoi) and knew the store manager as Ms. VTH (28 years old). Through talking, Ha knows that Ms. H. has not had a husband and children, so the advertisement has the ability to read fortune-telling.

From February 24 to April 5, 2022, Ha repeatedly asked Ms. H. to give money for the ceremony, the form of transaction was cash, transfer or gold. The indictment determined that the female victim gave Ha nearly 1.4 billion dong, 2 gold threads, a gold chain.

After being denounced, Ha and the people involved took the initiative to return to the investigating agency nearly 400 million VND, a motorbike, a phone and 2 gold rings.
Combined with the two previous cases, the general penalty that Ha must receive is 17 years and 3 months in prison.
