The 21st round of the Premier League continued today (Monday) when Hapoel Haifa hosted Hapoel Jerusalem and at the end of a great game we suffered a dramatic loss in the form of 3:2 to Ziv Aryeh’s team

Roni Levy’s team was dominant from the start, managed to get into good situations and got paid in the 15th minute when Noam Ben Harosh put a great ball into the box and Guy Melamed lightly pushed inside. In the 35th minute, Mohamed Kamara doubled the advantage when he unleashed a tremendous kick from a long distance and reduced the host to a double advantage at the break.

In the second half, the story was different, the Jerusalemites stepped up, took the reins and looked superior to the host, and in the 68th minute, the reward came, when Ofek Biton rose superbly to the elevation of Omar Agbadish and scored the narrow goal.

Five minutes before the end of the 90th minute, Nael Odeh whistled for a penalty in favor of the Jerusalemites, and Matan Khozuz scored exactly from the spot and forced a dramatic equalizer. The guest was not satisfied with the draw, continued to press the gas, and deep into the extra time, in the 95th minute, found the winning goal when a great attack ended with an excellent finish by Hozz who completed a double and gave Ziv Aryeh a tremendous victory and important points in the struggles of the bottom.

The group from Carmel has now broken a streak of two consecutive wins in the league and eight games without a loss in all formats, and when next week Maccabi Haifa awaits them for a hot derby, Roni Levy’s task to return to the winning track will not be particularly easy.

The Jerusalemites, on the other hand, continue their good form with a second win in a row and will hope to continue the wonderful momentum when they host MS Ashdod in the next round of the league.
