The Xiaomi brand has just officially presented its new series of Redmi K60 smartphones at an event in China. Since it went on sale, Xiaomi reports that it has sold 300,000 copies in just 5 minutes: a real commercial success.
It’s only been a few days since the new series of smartphones Xiaomi Redmi K60 is available in China. It is made up of the Redmi K60E models, the most affordable, Redmi K60 and Redmi K60 Pro. The latter benefits in particular from a processeur Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the current fastest chip for Android mobiles and which can also be found on other high-end models announced or to come. It also benefits from wireless charging and 120 watt wired charging capability. It is equipped with an AMOLED screen and has a 50 megapixel main photo sensor on the back.
A very good sale but the brand has already done better
The Xiaomi brand has just announced that it has made a first flash sale in China and reveals on the Chinese social network Weibo that it has sold a first batch of 300,000 units of Redmi K60 smartphones in just 5 minutes ! In detail, this corresponds to 100 mobiles sold per second, which is quite impressive. However, this figure remains lower than the 330,000 units that had passed at the same time when the previous model, the Redmi K50, whose series has only two models, went on sale. We will see if the new Redmi K60 ultimately exceeds the sales figures of the Redmi K50. Remember that the Redmi K60 should be available in France and more generally in Europe under the name of Poco F5, from which we are awaiting all the information concerning its marketing date and its price.
