You have certainly seen the bad news from Microsoft regarding the 10,000 layoffs! In addition, some rumors spoke of the sequel to Halo which would no longer be provided by 343I. However, in a recent Tweet, Pierre Hintze the head of the studio wanted to reassure the players.
Halo and Master Chief are here to stay.
343 Industries will continue to develop Halo now and in the future, with epic stories, multiplayer, and other elements that make Halo great.
Pierre Hintze makes it clear in this short press release that 343 Industries will continue to develop Halo “today” and “in the future”. Thus, the head of the studio confirms that the flagship series of Xbox will always be supported by an Xbox Game Studio!
