The woman lost control of her skis on a steep slope and went over the edge of the slope in a curve. She fell around ten meters into steep forest terrain and, according to police, overturned. The winter sports athlete ended up lying seriously injured between roots and stones. Resuscitation measures were unsuccessful.
First aiders resuscitated the woman immediately, and the piste rescue team and the emergency helicopter team also tried to save her. But the 35-year-old died at the scene of the accident and was rescued by the police helicopter. An autopsy was ordered.
