Vienna – The universities of applied sciences (FH) will be given an additional 350 study places for newcomers from autumn. Five locations in Vienna, Lower Austria and Tyrol will benefit from the expansion. Education and Science Minister Martin Polaschek (ÖVP) announced this on Wednesday. The reason for the targeted selection was the Mint focus of the campaign – and the tight capacities in the selected universities.
