Amazon Egypt for e-commerce services launched the Amazon Prime program in the local market, with a free subscription for 30 days.
Under the program, the customer gets exclusive offers and benefits, including fast and free shipping on orders, so that if the consumer places an order worth 350 pounds on Amazon before 11 am every day, delivery will be made on the same day.
Amazon had suspended the Prime program in Egypt in the middle of last June, and it is also available in 24 other countries around the world, and it has about 200 million subscribers.
Amazon Prime also provides customers with Amazon Prime Video, which includes a range of movies and programs, and also provides a range of video games such as FIFA 2022.
The company offers the program to customers without any subscription fees for free during the first month, then the monthly subscription of the customer in the program reaches 29 pounds per month, and the annual subscription value reaches 249 annually, and the customer can cancel the subscription to the programs at any time.
Amazon aims this year to double the number of distribution areas and warehouses to 26 areas, in addition to creating 2,000 new job opportunities.
Amazon has partnered with Orange Egypt to provide different payment solutions to customers, whereby customers can pay for the subscription after the free month in the program via credit cards or through Orange through systems that are paid through monthly bills.
