A fatal traffic accident occurred on Sunday in the Leibnitz district in Styria. A 40-year-old came in the followingnoon on the municipal road with his car to the right of the roadway, turned around and crashed into a tree with the passenger side. The man suffered fatal injuries, police said.
The accident was only noticed 15 to 30 minutes later by passers-by, who immediately alerted the rescue services. Despite immediately initiated resuscitation, the emergency doctor had to determine the driver’s death following regarding 40 minutes. The man was alone in the car. According to the police, the reason for the accident was probably the inappropriate driving speed.
