Today, Saturday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that the average number of daily infections with the Corona virus reached 400 cases during the past week, as part of the necessary surveillance, investigation and examination procedures conducted by the ministry according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing out that the average daily death toll reached 7 new cases.
Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, stated that the average daily number of people recovering from the Corona virus reached 532, after receiving the necessary medical care and completing their recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, bringing the total number of people recovering from the Corona virus so far 442,182 recoverers.
He stressed that, according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for a period of 10 days from infection is an indicator of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
It is noteworthy that the number of people who have received vaccines against the Corona virus has reached 32 million, 997,251 of the fully vaccinated people so far, and the ministry calls on citizens to register on the ministry’s website (Press here To receive the Coronavirus vaccines, which contribute to protecting all family members from severe infections with the Coronavirus and its variants, stressing that the Egyptian state spares no effort in providing vaccinations to citizens for free, within the framework of the Ministry’s keenness on the public health of citizens and the state’s gains in addressing the pandemic.
The Ministry of Health and Population continues to raise its preparations in all governorates of the Republic, follow up on the situation first-hand regarding the “emerging corona virus”, and take all necessary preventive measures against any viruses or infectious diseases, and the ministry has allocated a number of means of communication to receive citizens’ inquiries about the emerging corona virus and infectious diseases. Including the hotline “105”, “15335” and the WhatsApp number “01553105105”, in addition to the “Health Egypt” application available on phones.
