(AOF) – “Registrations of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles increased by + 41.5% in January 2023, compared to January 2022, with 19.5% market share”, announces Avere (National Association for the development of electric mobility). The association mentions more than 138,000 private and light commercial vehicles put on the road. Registrations of plug-in electrified models continued to grow, with particularly good growth for light commercial vehicles (+127%) compared to +43% for passenger cars.
“The year is off to a good start, therefore, but we must remain vigilant: the crises affecting the automobile market (shortage of semiconductors, delivery problems, etc.) are not over,” commented Avere.
