The 41st edition of the traditional tarte flambée festival in Bœsenbiesen takes place on the weekend of August 22 and 23, 2026. Hosted by the ACSL association at the abri aux Quatre Vents, the two-day culinary event features wood-fired flammekueches, live music, and local brotherhoods.

According to local reports, the 2026 edition relies on five industrial-grade wood-fired ovens running at full capacity to handle the massive volume of traditional Alsatian flammekueches. The menu covers both savory and sweet iterations, ranging from classic nature, gruyère, and munster variants to apple and raspberry desserts.
Ever since the construction of the new shelter facility, attendees have had direct line-of-sight visibility into the assembly line. Younger children clear tables, teenagers manage food delivery, and adults handle beverage service and order intake.

ACSL association president Bruno Bouillé highlighted the event’s dual appeal for veterans and newcomers alike. According to Bouillé, “We have clients faithful for years, who return for the quality of our tartes and the ambiance. And for others, this will be a discovery!”
The 2026 entertainment schedule leans heavily on live performances across both evenings, anchored by the Gyn Fizz orchestra. Saturday night’s programming expands with a dedicated tribute performance by Jean-Claude Bader interpreting Johnny Hallyday. Saturday’s roster features delegations from the Confréries du véritable flammekueche d’Alsace, the Zewwelatreppler de Sélestat, and the Rieslinger de Scherwiller.

Entry to the grounds and the accompanying bal are entirely free of charge. Clear directional road markings (fléchage) are deployed throughout the surrounding area to guide traffic directly to the site.
