“45% of the documents required to process investment files will be eliminated”

In response to a central question in the House of Representatives on “the simplification of investment procedures”, Ms. Mezzour indicated that the ministry has worked in collaboration with the regional investment centers (CRI) for the establishment of procedures relating to investment, welcoming the importance of investment as a driver of socio-economic development and a provider of employment.

In this regard, the Minister pointed out that the “Cri-invest” platform has been updated, with a view to reducing the number of documents required for investment, noting that information and awareness meetings have been organized for the benefit of civil servants in nine regions, so far, with a view to supporting them in the implementation of simplified administrative procedures before the official launch of the platform.

Concerning, moreover, the question of the integration of the Amazigh language in public administrations, presented by the group of the National Rally of Independents, Ms. Mezzour indicated that her department is in the process of developing a series of projects in this area, citing in this regard the assignment of 300 assistants to the Ministries of Justice and Health and Social Protection in all regions of the Kingdom.

These assistants are responsible for supporting users to facilitate access to social services, she continued, noting that other ministerial departments will be involved in this operation.
