Last Wednesday, the Council of Ministers approved a draft law allowing Egyptians residing abroad to bring in used cars with a 100% exemption from the prescribed fees.

In its project, the government stipulates that the imported car should not have passed three years since the manufacture of the imported car, with all fees deposited in the interest of the Ministry of Finance in dollars and refunded after 5 years in Egyptian pounds without returns.
