5 million dollars in compensation for chocolate without “mouth and eyes”!

Cairo – “The Gulf”
Hershey Company, the American chocolate giant, is facing a lawsuit that might cost it $5 million, filed by a woman following she found that the company’s candy did not resemble the shape on the packaging, which includes “a nose and eyes.”
The company is facing charges of “deceiving and misleading” customers, during the lawsuit filed by a woman named Cynthia Kelly from Florida, who confirmed that she bought the candy because she liked its artistic design.
She added: “I was impressed by the cute eyes and mouth that appear on the peanut butter candy, inspired by the symbol of Halloween, which prompted me to buy it for $4.49.”
She indicated that following she opened the wrapper, she did not find any Halloween features or any engravings at all on the chocolate, according to the American New York Post.
So in her lawsuit, the woman accused the American company of misleading, demanding compensation worth no less than $5 million, or 1.1 million peanut butter candy bars.
The lawsuit stated: “Many consumers were deceived and misled by the images on the product’s packaging, especially since the matter was not only related to Halloween candy, but also to another football-themed product, which did not contain what the packaging showed, as the product appeared to be an egg.” .
The woman also posted a picture of another product that resembled Halloween ghosts, without the mouth and eyes that appeared on the cover.
