Astronomy enthusiasts are preparing for a dazzling celestial display later this month, and five planets from the solar system will be visible from Earth as part of a rare planetary alignment. And on March 28, Jupiter, Mercury, Uranus, Mars and Venus are expected to line up together.
Two of the brighter planets, Mercury and Jupiter, will be noticeable near the horizon. Although binoculars are needed to locate Uranus, Mars will be detectable in alignment near the Moon.
