Muhammad Ashour, the father of “Fares”, spoke to Masrawy, saying: My son had finished his high school exams and went on a summer trip with his friends on the northern coast after pressing exams and waiting for the result to appear. On August 1, I was surprised by a phone call informing me that my son had died and his body was in El Alamein Hospital, and when I went and watched him for the last time. I found nothing in his body, from the area of the skull that was crushed to his feet, one of which was amputated as a result of the terrible collision.

Fares’ father added, “All I want is the right of my son who caused his death, and I do not know the reason for the decision to release the accused driver, but I will not leave the right, and I asked the competent authorities to sign an analysis of the accused to show whether he used narcotics while driving or not, as well as unloading the surveillance cameras. On the road where the accident occurred.

In turn, Shaima Ashour, the student’s aunt, said that all the witnesses from Faris’ colleagues confirmed that the car was traveling at such a crazy speed that his body disappeared from their sight due to the severity of the collision, which indicates the recklessness of the accused car driver, noting that the investigation showed that the road on which the accident occurred was lit. And that investigations did not prove that there was a trace of the car’s brakes on the ground, which means that the driver of the car did not even try to avoid the victim.”
