Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council, affirmed that the anniversary of the country’s 52nd Union Day is an inspiring anniversary in the nation’s history, and we raise our resolve, crowned with a journey full of achievements, and our country continues its pioneering steps and presents to the world a civilizational and developmental model at all levels.
He said, “On this precious national occasion, we recall with great pride the merit of the founding leader, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him, and the founding fathers in building the lofty edifice of the Union and establishing the constants and authentic values, which our leadership follows in the footsteps, and the people of the Union adhere to.” Which was, and still is, the path to success through which the UAE has achieved its rightful place among the best countries in the world.
He added: On this occasion that is dear to all of our hearts, and on behalf of the members of the Federal National Council, we extend our warmest congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the State, Chairman of the Council of Ministers. The Ministers, Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State, Deputy Prime Minister, Chief of the Presidential Court, and Their Highnesses Members of the Supreme Council, Rulers of the Emirates, and to the people of the Union… wishing God Almighty to perpetuate the blessing of security.
