The Ministry of Health and population announced, Wednesday, the exit of 2428 recovering from the coronavirus from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and full recovery in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization, bringing the total recovered from the virus to 380,028 so far.
Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, spokesman for the Ministry of Health and population, said that 2,191 new cases were registered and tested positive for the virus and its variants, as part of the necessary surveillance, investigation and tests conducted by the ministry in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing out that 57 new cases have died.
He stressed that according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization issued in May, the disappearance of pathological symptoms for 10 days from infection is an indicator of the patient’s recovery from the coronavirus.
“Abdel Ghaffar” pointed out that the total number that was recorded in Egypt with the new corona virus until Wednesday, is 446,308, including 380,028 cases cured, and 23,110 deaths.
The Ministry of Health and population continues to raise its preparations in all governorates of the Republic, follow up the situation on the new corona virus, and take all necessary preventive measures against any viruses or infectious diseases.the ministry has also allocated a number of means of communication to receive citizens ‘ inquiries about the new corona virus and infectious diseases, including the hotline “105”, “15335” and the WhatsApp number”01553105105″, in addition to the application “health Egypt” available on phones.
