570 sorties for Abu Dhabi Police aviation in 6 months

The Abu Dhabi Police Aviation Department carried out 570 sorties in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi during the first half of 2022 AD, which included 41 air ambulance sorties, 238 police operations, 177 training sorties, in addition to 114 sorties for other missions.

Brigadier Pilot Ibrahim Hassan Al Balushi, Director of the Abu Dhabi Police Aviation Department in the Central Operations Sector, stressed that the department, with its crews and cadres, keeps pace with all developments that meet the requirements of Abu Dhabi Police in terms of support and support for security and police units 24 hours a day and according to the best advanced practices.

He pointed out to always respond to emergency cases and traffic accident victims and transfer them to specialized hospitals to receive treatment through planes equipped with the latest medical equipment and cadres who have been trained and rehabilitated at the highest levels and practices.

He pointed to the administration’s keenness to respond to humanitarian calls and reach the reporting sites, within the response time, to save lives and provide humanitarian care in inaccessible areas and external roads, or for those stranded, whether on land or at sea.

He stressed the keenness to prepare and qualify the affiliates, including pilots, air medics, navigators, doctors, nurses, technical and administrative engineers, through specialized theoretical and practical courses, to perform all the tasks required within the geographical scope of the department.

He stated that the administration held 28 flight simulation courses attended by 57 pilots, and a transformative flight course with the participation of pilots, in addition to a number of courses such as a pilot course, instrument flight course, search and rescue, transformative flight courses on the latest aircraft, in addition to lectures, exercises and various workshops. Developing the performance of the affiliates, training them on the latest modern scientific technologies, and enrolling them in courses inside and outside the country in aviation medicine, aircraft maintenance and other courses.
