The new iPad Air looks no different from the previous iPad Air. Unless there are new colors.
The main innovation is the Apple M1 instead of the A14. Graphics are 60% faster. There is 5G.
The iPad is said to be twice as fast as a Windows laptop for the same price. OK.
Another innovation is the front camera. It’s a 12MP ultra-wide with a “Spotlight” feature where the camera “follows” the speaker. Convenient feature for video conferencing.
Prices start at $599 for the 64GB version. Pre-order from Friday, and open sale from next Friday.
