Abu Dhabi/Rasal Khaimah ∙ The New Year festival brought six world records to the UAE. Of these, four are owned by Abu Dhabi and two by Ras Al Khaimah. Abu Dhabi won three records with a fireworks display that lasted for more than 40 minutes and the record for creating the largest QR code in the sky by deploying 3,000 drones.
3 records are for quantity, placement and duration of fireworks used in fireworks. The fireworks display in Ras Al Khaimah, which lasted for 12 minutes over a length of 4.7 km, also set a record. Another record was held by 673 drones at a height of 1100 meters.
