In 2023, the Louvre Museum in Paris will host about 60 works from the Capodimonte Museum in the Italian city of Naples, under an “exclusive” partnership signed between the two institutions, according to what the Director of the French Museum Laurence de Carr announced, stressing that it is an exceptional event! She said: We will host in 2023 the most beautiful masterpieces of the Capodimonte Museum, which will interact with those in the Louvre.
These works remain in the Louvre for six months, from June 2023 to January 2024. Both parties seek to take advantage of the opportunity that the Capodimonte Museum is closed during this period in order to carry out repairs.
