Food kits are being distributed as part of the Hala Ramzan campaign
Dubai: 2,000 food kits were distributed daily through the three-day ‘Hala Ramzan’ initiative led by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD). I.A.C.A.D. Director General Dr. Hamad Al Sheikh Ahmed Al Shaibani, CEO of Dubai Community Management. The kits were distributed under the supervision of Abdullah Aziz Al Gergawi.
Officials said the campaign was helpful in increasing social cohesion. The campaign was conducted in Teacom District in collaboration with Dubai Holding, Dubai Community Management and Municipality.
Entertainment programs for children, basketball tournament, educational lectures etc. were also organized as part of the campaign. The campaign started on Friday and ended on Sunday.
