Kundl – A 65-year-old climber fell to his death in a climbing hall in Kundl (Kufstein district) on Sunday evening. According to initial findings, the man entered various routes, and the fatal crash occurred around 6:40 p.m. Members of the Alpine Club who were in the canteen heard a loud bang and found the 65-year-old lying lifeless on the ground. According to the police, the man was wearing a climbing harness, but had not attached a self-belay.
