The leader of the Green Party
Märta Stenevi has had
a break from politics.
She has been on sick leave.
But now she has made up her mind
to stop completely.
She doesn’t want to continue
as leader of the Green Party.
She said that on Friday.
– I don’t believe anymore
that I can do a good job
as party leader,
says Märta Stenevi
to the newspaper Aftonbladet.
Märta Stenevi has had
a hard autumn.
Among other things, she has received
criticism that she was
a boss too hard on them
with whom she worked.
The Green Party has always had two leaders.
Last fall, the party got
a new leader, Daniel Helldén.
Stenevi and Helldén would collaborate.
But people talked regarding
they had difficulty cooperating.
Märta Stenevi has previously said
that it is not correct.
Märta Stenevi was elected
to leader of the Green Party in 2021.
It is not clear who
who will now lead the Green Party
together with Daniel Helldén.
