Very big fright for an 84-year-old Modavi motorist: while driving in the Hoyoux valley, in the direction of Huy-Modave, he lost control of his vehicle this Wednesday, June 28, shortly following 12 p.m. The driver, possibly ill, and his car ended up in the middle of the river.
Despite the shock and the relatively high current at this location, the octogenarian managed to get out of his vehicle. Very slightly injured, he was rescued by the firefighters of the Hemeco zone, while the Ford Fiesta was extracted from Hoyoux by the Condroz repair service.
