85-year-old streamer Shirley Curry, known as “Skyrim’s grandmother”, spoke about the stroke. She shared information about health problems and recovery with subscribers on YouTube.
According to Curry, while sleeping on the night of February 26, she suffered a stroke and was later taken to the hospital. As the streamer notes, as a result of an attack, she began to have memory problems: she does not remember information about finances, medicines, and how to play The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The grandmother noted that she was very scared when she suddenly realized that she could no longer spend time in her favorite title. However, Curry has started rehab therapy and hopes it will help her skills come back.
Shirley Curry’s YouTube channel has over 986,000 subscribers. The 85-year-old streamer became famous thanks to videos on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. In May 2021 fans released a modification that adds the character Curry as an NPC to the RPG.
