the mobility app 99 announced that the service motorcycle trips, called 99Moto, will start operating in the cities of São Paulo, including Greater São Paulo, and Rio de Janeiro, in all its regions, from the 31st of January.
According to the company, the novelty expands 99’s service intermediation offer in the metropolises, reinforcing its strategy of doubling its bet on the Duas Rodas sector and its commitment to make the daily lives of Brazilians more agile.
Present in more than 3 thousand municipalities, the category offers a mobility alternative for daily trips with more inclusive values, being at least 30% more economical than 99Poptransport option by car.
Another differential of the modality is the flexibility of access to places with narrow lanes that are not safely served by other vehicles. to 99 opened registration for motorcycle category in RJ and SP a few days ago and also launched the delivery service for companies.
In all, the company claims that 99Moto has more than 50 security systems. These are systems such as checking and validating records, and a 24-hour call center able to provide all kinds of support.
To use the new service, the user just needs to access the 99 application and select the 99Moto category when requesting the ride. Also this month, Uber Moto arrived in SP and RJ with lower prices, but faced opposition from local governments.
