99, an on-demand racing app, announced the 99Negocia, negotiation feature between drivers and passengers for the fare. The new feature is now available in more than 1,800 Brazilian municipalities.
To use the category, the passenger must access the app and enter the destination address. 99Negocia will appear among the available options, with a suggested value and passenger editing optionoffering the possibility for the passenger to choose a lower or higher price, increasing the possibility of the driver accepting the trip.
Drivers then receive the call and can evaluate the requester and trip information, as well as make a counterproposal. If there is no agreement, the passenger can request another vehicle.
The category does not allow route changes, stops or detours during the journey. It is worth mentioning that, as in other races, there are more than 50 safety features for both the driver and passenger.
In the state of São Paulo, the 99Negocia category is available in Campinas, Presidente Prudente, Itapetininga, Marília, Limeira, São Carlos, Araraquara, Santos, São José dos Campos, Birigui, Guaratinguetá, Bauru, Bragança Paulista, Jundiaí, Ribeirão Preto, Sorocaba and Piracicaba.
