NEW YORK (Archyde.com) – The main US stock indexes rose in… Wall Street Stock At the open on Wednesday following consumer price data came in broadly in line with expectations, dispelling some concern regarding faster-than-expected increases in interest rates, and big tech stocks led the market higher.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average began the trading session on Wall Street, up 84.14 points, or 0.23 percent, to 36,336.16 points.
The benchmark Standard & Poor’s 500 index rose 15.52 points, or 0.33 percent, to 4728.59 points, while the Nasdaq Composite Index jumped 109.65 points, or 0.72 percent, to 15,263.10 points.
