Kovid for 6 players; Yet India beat Ireland in the Super League | Under 19 World Cup | | India | | Ireland | | Manorama News |

Tarouba (Trinidad) ഇന്ത്യ India qualified for the Super League stage by beating Ireland by 174 runs in the Under-19 World Cup despite losing six players, including captain Yash Dul, to Kovid. In the Group B match, Ireland were bowled out for 133, following India’s target of 308.

India lost the toss and opted to bat. Raghuvanshi and Hannoor put on 164 for the first wicket.

In reply, Ireland surrendered without much struggle. For India, Aneeshwar Gautam, Kaushal Tambe and Garv Sangwal took two wickets each while Riva Kumar and Vicky Ostwal took one wicket each. In the first match, India defeated South Africa by 45 runs.
