Halilhodzic makes spine-chilling revelations

Vahid Halilhodzic is going through complicated times in Morocco. The Bosnian Atlas Lions coach made spine-chilling revelations on Thursday, February 3.

Before the start of CAN 2021 in Cameroon (January 9 – February 6), he was taken to task by Moroccan supporters who reproached him for having said that Algeria were favorites for the final coronation.

“Strangers even threatened to cut off my head”

“I’ll tell you something: I locked myself up for two days (after the 2-1 defeat against Egypt). When I went out to do my shopping, I received support from some. They even congratulated me for my work and asked me to stay at the head of the selection,” Vahid Halilhodzic told the media.

The former coach of the Algerian team continues: “Obviously, there is a category which was disappointed by the elimination. Strangers even threatened to cut off my head”.
