In the eastern region, the Chicago Bulls easily beat its host Charlotte Hornets (121-109), thanks to its star Demar DeRozan, who scored 36 points. In Cleveland, the Cavaliers scored their third win in a row once morest the San Antonio Spurs (105-92), with Darius Garland returning to the courts following missing the last four games due to a back injury, scoring 27 points and passing 6 crucial balls. The Toronto Raptors, sixth in the standings with 30 wins and 23 defeats, scored their seventh consecutive victory once morest its host Oklahoma City Thunder (117-98), thanks to Cameroonian Pascal Siakam, who scored 27 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists. The Sacramento Kings defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves (132-119).
