Injury Time Thriller; Barcelona barely escapes Catalan derby

Barcelona narrowly escaped defeat in the La Liga match once morest Espanyol. Luke Dijon’s last-minute goal in injury time leveled the score for Barcelona. Djong’s goal came just seconds before the end of the game.

Barcelona took the lead in the second minute through Pedri. However, in the 40th minute, Espanyol equalized through Darder’s goal. In the 64th minute, Espanyol took the lead through a goal by Ral D. Tomas. De Jong’s goal came just seconds before the end of the match as Espanyol raced to victory, defending Barcelona’s advances beautifully. Djong scored with a beautiful header from Adama Triora’s cross from Barcelona’s newcomer.

Barcelona are currently fourth in the La Liga points table with 39 points. Real Madrid are top with 54 points.
